I don't think I've run in a race since I was in gym class in high school. There's a reason for that: I'm terrible at running.
Today I started to train. I'm using the Couch-to-5K Running Plan at www.coolrunning.com Despite some serious shin splints about 8 minutes into my 20 minute "workout" (1 minute running, 1.5 minute walking) I completed it.
